The first day of spring has arrived. No more snow and ice. No more cold weather and snow brushes. I have dug out my car for the last time, and no longer have to worry about the way it looks. Both cars made it through with only small scratches from the broom used to clear away snow. Now I can peel up my car mats to see how much rust has developed over the winter. Now I can fix all the broken plastic parts that cracked in the cold. Spring is a time of car washes and hand waxing. It’s a time when I can put my convertible top down and crank the music.
I love spring, and I adore summer. I can finally take my poor motorcycle out of storage, and ride the streets again. I can wash my car, and not have it turn to crap the very next day. For all of you who have suffered from blizzards and flooding…get out and enjoy the sun. If you have a roadster, take that top off and start cruising. If you don’t, trade in that minivan for something impractical and fun.
This is the season for car shows and swap meets, for rallies and races. No matter what type of convertible you drive, this begins the season of fun.
